Royal Holloway has a strong sense of history and its place in the community. We already work with businesses across the region and believe we have a strong role to play as a catalyst for economic growth. We aim to increase interaction, particularly with smaller businesses, and make our specialist expertise and services available to those who would not otherwise have access to them. At the same time, we will learn from the commercial world and take note of the concerns and aspirations of local employers.
Our Research and Enterprise Department is active in licensing, consultancy, company formation, collaborative industrial partnerships as well as providing accommodation in our incubation centre for new companies to grow.
We help our staff and students who have the ambition to commercialise their ideas. For those who specifically wish to start businesses, we again provide help and advice on developing business plans as well as providing access to a range of seed and growth investment funds.
