Emerald Fund

The College is a partner in the ‘Proof of Concept’ or pre-commercial fund to enable seed corn funding for good business ideas that are developed by students or staff from within the consortium. The partners for the scheme are: City University, UeL, University of Greenwich, London Met, London Southbank, Middlesex University, Ravensbourne College of Communications and Goldsmiths. The fund will have significant resources over three years.

The OBCD will provide a small amount of funding to enable ideas to be developed in conjunction with the scheme’s business advisors. The developed bids will then be submitted for competitive review by the consortia Board who grant awards to develop the most promising business proposals.
