Universities and the Arts Report
The Drama Department at QMUL has developed a number of strong relationships with different professional artists and arts institutions over the last decade. These links have strengthened both the research and the teaching within the Department. As part of the Arts Week activities at QMUL in May 2007, Professor Paul Heritage hosted an informal lunch to discuss the contribution of universities to the arts with members of the Drama Department and their collaborators from the arts sectors. The intention behind the encounter was to inform professional arts practitioners about current initiatives that make possible future collaborations and to ask for ideas and input on how these relationships might continue.
