Performing Medicine Programme Receives Arts Council Award

Suzy Willson, a Queen Mary Visiting Research Fellow in Drama, has just received and Arts Council England award for her ongoing Performing Medicine Programme with the Barts School of Medicine and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

This project consists of a series of courses, workshops and events which use the arts to provide training to medical students and practising health professionals. It has so far received funding from LCACE, Queen Mary, the Arts Concil, the AHRC and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
