The event follows from a round table event we hosted in December 2008 to provide a space to discuss the outcomes of a piece of research commissioned by LCACE to examine the impact of our annual Seed Fund programme.
At the time, we were particularly interested in exploring ways in which we might better be able to define and/or articulate the non-economic impacts of that aspect of our work.
The research, led by Lucy Hutton, then at Stepahead Research and now at Arts Council England, proposed the potential for four key kinds of Impact as follows: Personal Impact, Network Impact, Knowledge Impact and Institutional Impact.

‘Impact Narratives’ is a part of the ongoing ‘SME and Research Intensive Universities Pilot Project’ taking place at King’s College London and is supported by the London Development Agency.
